The Tracy Dems endorse progressive candidates from the school board to the presidency. You can play an important role in the endorsement process by helping to find these candidates and research their stories. Every race and every candidate comes one step closer to taking the country back.
Endorsement Procedures
The following endorsement procedures are taken directly from the bylaws of the Tracy Dems.
CANDIDATE ENDORSEMENT GUIDELINES
The Club has the legal right to endorse, not endorse or take no position on candidates running for public office. Endorsement can be in the form of use of Club’s name, use of human resources, monetary contributions or any combination thereof. All contributions must be made in accordance with state Under no circumstances may the Club consider the endorsement of a Candidate for public office who is not registered with the Democratic Party. The Club may endorse both partisan and non-partisan Candidates prior to primary elections, if they so chose – or the Club can withhold endorsements until after the primary election. All Candidate endorsements must adhere to the procedure noted below.
